Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish musician, singer and songwriter. Corr together the likes of Caroline Sharon and Jim, began their career with the band as The Corrs' lead singer in the year 1990. Andrea Corr, an Irish musician, songwriter and actor is part of The Corrs. The honor she received was that of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) and is better known as an active member of The Corrs, a Celtic folk and pop-rock band The Corrs. She is the lead singer of the group and plays multiple instruments. Andrea was first introduced to acting in the year 1991. Later, she became an experienced musician and performer on stage. She was an accompanying singer in the 1998 Warner Bros. animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea's six studio albums are enhanced by two compilation albums including three live albums as well as the remix album. Additionally, she has earned acknowledgement for her charitable work. Andrea is the wife of her stockbroker partner and has two children. Andrea's first music lesson was to learn the tin horn. Gerry was her teacher when she first began learning to play the piano. Andrea can also play the ukulele. Andrea spent the majority of her teens honing her musical skills. She started by singing with her siblings as well, before she became the singer-in-chief of the group. Andrea often performed in the school's musicals. She attended Dun Lughaidh Convent.
