Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th, 1961) is an American actress. Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actress. Bassett is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was brought up in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt, who was born in New York New York, is an acclaimed actor. Bassett's mother had split from her father when she was approximately five. Bassett and her younger sister later relocated to St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett was in high school when was able to see James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck in the play Of Mice and Men and was aware that her goal to become an actor been realized. In 1980, Bassett was graduated from Yale University New Haven Connecticut with the degree of African American studies. She earned a diploma from the Yale School of Drama. At Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a actress who was a friend of hers. They married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980. Master in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working on one of the leading roles in the film Ramonda in the action-adventure movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
